Privacy policy

What we collect

• Quiz answers.Your answers and the resulting profile (the “Dad Index”) are stored in your own browser (localStorage). They are sent to our server only momentarily to assemble your kit and are not persisted there.
• Email address— only if you choose to unlock Field Guide sessions. We store it with your archetype so the guide we send matches your match. That's its only job.
• Basic analytics. Anonymous usage events (quiz started, kit viewed). No advertising identifiers, no cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting.

What we never do

• Sell, rent, or share your personal information with data brokers. Ever.
• Collect anything about your kid. The quiz asks you about temperament in general terms; no names, ages beyond a band, photos, or identifiers.
• Handle your payment details. Purchases happen directly on each merchant's own store; their privacy policy governs that checkout.

Where products come from

Kit recommendations are retrieved from Shopify's public product catalog via the Universal Commerce Protocol. When you click “Get it,” you leave our site for the merchant's own storefront — we may earn a commission, which never changes your price.

Your controls

• Clear your browser storage to erase your quiz profile completely.
• Every email includes one-click unsubscribe.
• Email privacy@firstsaturday.club to have your email and any associated data deleted — we do it within 30 days, usually same-week.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the effective date above changes with it and subscribers get an email. No silent edits.
